Housekeeper/Cooks

We are recruiting for permanent and casual part time Housekeeper/Cooks to join our passionate teams in our three family-style homes in Cheltenham and Cirencester

Part time, £9.50 per hour + holiday pay + free meals on duty

Abbeyfield Gloucestershire Society is a local charity tackling loneliness and isolation by providing independent living housing across the county.

We are recruiting for permanent and casual part time Housekeeper/Cooks to join our passionate teams in our three family-style homes in Cheltenham and Cirencester.

You need to be able to create two home-cooked meals a day in a modern kitchen for up to 8 people. Placing the resident experience at the heart of all you do, you are a naturally caring person, who understands the needs of older people and knows how to cook nutritious meals for them. It is your mission to make each day a happy day for everyone.

The ideal candidate for this role will be self-motivated, calm and efficient, with a can-do attitude and an ability to build strong relationships, communicate well and work proactively.

A full driving licence is desirable. An enhanced DBS certificate and Food Hygiene certificate are required, which we can assist you in obtaining if necessary. Full training will be provided.

Our houses are located in St Luke’s Road (GL53 7JF) and Prestbury Road (GL52 3DD) in Cheltenham plus Chesterton Lane (GL7 1XJ) in Cirencester.
